Learn to edit your website in Divi

Here you will find videos explaining how to make common changes in Divi. If you can't find the answer here, feel free to contact us.

How to enable edit mode for a page

To enable editing mode, you must first be logged in to WordPress. Go to the URL of the page you want to edit and click «Enable Visual Builder» in the top menu. Alternatively, you can go to the WordPress dashboard and select «Pages» in the left side menu. Find the page you want to edit and click «Edit with Divi». To edit text, click on the text. You will then be given the option to click on the gray gear that allows you to change the settings for the module.

Change a photo

To change an image, you can usually click on the image. This will give you the option to click on the gray gear that allows you to change the settings for the module. Click on the image you want to change and upload a different image or select an image from your media library.

Edit the menu

When you log in to WordPress, you will be taken to the control panel. To edit the menu, go to «Appearance» ➔ «Menus» in the left side menu. There you can select which menu you want to edit from the drop-down menu. In the video I show you how to add and remove items from the menu.

Change the language for your user in WordPress

To change the language, go to «Users»➔»Profile» in the left side menu of your WordPress dashboard.

Edit contact form

To edit a contact form, go to "WPForms" in the left side menu of your WordPress dashboard. Click on the contact form you want to edit. In the video, I show you how to add different fields to the form.

To add a news post, go to «+Add» in the top menu or to «Posts»➔»Add Post» in the left side menu of your WordPress dashboard. In the video, I show you how to edit and publish posts.

Editing a slider

To change a slider, click on the slider. You will then be given the option to click on the gray gear that allows you to change the settings for the module. 

Editing the footer

To edit the footer, go to «Divi»➔»Theme Builder» in the left side menu of your WordPress dashboard. Then click on the pencil next to «Global Footer».
